A Second Glance: The Global Launch Tour Begins

Dear Readers,

Today is the kind of day that makes me think about the women who shaped me, the ones who stayed and the ones who left, and everything they passed down without meaning to. I am writing to you from that place this morning.

There is a moment in Scarlet Yearnings Beyond First Glance where a character realizes that the most courageous thing they can do is not to leave, but to look again. To offer a second glance to a love that has grown quiet or a friendship that has fractured.

Writing these twelve stories was an exercise in looking again. It was about exploring the beautiful, messy reality of what happens after the initial spark fades. And now, it is finally time to share them with you.

I am so incredibly excited to announce the official launch tour for the book. Because this collection spans the diaspora, our celebration will, too.

A Caribbean homecoming to close out the month. I will be joining the brilliant readers at Scribbles & Quills live via video link for a special hybrid Sip & Read experience.
